| Abstract Health and safety performance within the UK Construction Industry has shown no meaningful improvement for the last decade or so. Traditional approaches to health and safety management are not making an impact on accident/incident/ill health rates. This paper proposes that wider adoption of human factors can provide benefit within the UK Construction Industry, whilst recognising some of the real-world challenges within the sector. |
